If after hitting "Play" nothing happens, the game is loading assets. It's not broken 😉
ZWR is a classic twin stick shooter in its core. It will test your reaction and precision skills for sure but not only. Figure out which weapons work better against particular enemies. Develop your own play style while climbing the tech tree.
Expect challenge! But there's also an option to lower the difficulty if you're more of a chill player.
Yes! The game explains how to play it pretty thoroughly. But you can always skip the tutorial at any moment.

E/Q - next/previous weapon

Hey awesome game! Had a lot fun playing it. I think I died with 7 remaining?
I like having the limited ammo, and the store/upgrades were pretty unique!
One thing I would love is if you could boost via Shift, a little tough playing on a trackpad otherwise. Also I must have paused via P, and unpaused via Esc - but it doesn't remove the tutorial text! Ha I was so confused trying to remove it.

Love the game! Need some time to get used to the weapons. There is a challenge, especially towards the end when you need to balance between buying weapons or heal.

I got through a few rounds, I thought it was kind of fun. One game it really reminds me of is geometry wars. I really liked that game, so that nostalgia might score bonus points for some people.

What exactly happen with sniper weapon? Did it shoot but not making contact with enemies?
Adding full solid obstacles would add a whole new layer of complexity into enemies ai. I deliberately choose not to add them to cut through basics faster. But perhaps adding blockers only for bullets would make gameplay more interesting. I'll experiment with that if I have time!
The sniper weapon just wouldn’t fire, and it only happened one instance of the game. Also yeah the blockers for the bullets was kinda what I was thinking. Purely just food for thought since your probably working on other aspects.
Hello, i tested it for a few rounds and thats my first impression so far on whats there:
Its solid, but the last 2 rounds are pretty hard since they swarm you from all sides and you don't get room to breathe.
The Sniper is really good early when there are only the big ones
The Scatter is great for the small ones
I didn't like using the Pulse, not enough room for that in my opinion. Sniper one shots and Scatter kills the small ones really well.
The switching Weapon with Q/E works, but it does not work with 1-3
Also the small ones are pretty op :D

Yeah, the Scatter is intended to be the anti-swarm weapon. Great to know I hit the right point

Yes, for some reason 1-3 don't work in web build. I'll fix it in future versions
